An elegant and entertaining getaway in the heart of West Palm Beach
The Hibiscus House is two historic houses that were built in 1917 and 1918 and moved to their current location in 1996. The Main House, where breakfast is served, offers your choice of four beautifully appointed rooms with new private baths including one ADA accessible room. The Courtyard House is home to our four lovely suites, which include our pet friendly rooms and our luxurious Hibiscus Suite. Nestled between the two houses is our lush tropical courtyard and our tiki bar which is the perfect place to host corporate gatherings, weddings, birthdays, or holiday parties. Relax, unwind and have fun at the Backyard Bar. Both houses are registered in the National Register of Historic Places.
We have limited on site complimentary parking available at a first come, first serve basis. There is additional parking at $10.00 per day directly across the street from the Hibiscus House. There is free parking at all parking meters on Sunday’s and Holidays. For those folks who have business at the WPB Courthouse or City Hall, we are just a couple short blocks away. What our customers have to say!
I almost don't even want to leave a review because I love that the Hibiscus House is a hidden gem:) We had our wedding here on 11.11.16 and it was just incredible. We reserved the courtyard for ceremony and reception. We had cocktail hour on front porch. We rented the cottage and main house for family that was in from out of town. Stephanie, Jess, David, and Tim were so wonderful and really made everyone feel at home. My family can't stop talking about how charming the house is and what a cool place it was. Walking distance to city place and clematis street. Our photographer was able to capture some pretty amazing photos with the trolley that stops by and in the brick paved street. I would give 10 stars if I could.
I hosted a birthday party at Hibiscus House for my husband. The food was outstanding and plentiful. Dave and his team were terrific. Our friends are still talking about the setting, in downtown West Palm you felt like you were in key west! We are talking about the next event we can have there. Randy, the owner, should be very proud.
My husband & I stayed at the Hibiscus to celebrate our 5 yr anniversary. I can't say enough about this gem of a B&B in the heart of Dwtn WPB. The hospitality was beyond exceptional, they truly make you feel like you are family! I couldn't have asked for more. David, Tim, Stephanie, and Jessica were great "Hosts". Our room (Clematis) was as comfortable (maybe better) than ours at home...We arrived early, yet our room just happened to be ready for us to drop our bags and walk around town. No need to move your car once you are there, literally everything is within walking distance or the local Trolley that passes right out front. After meandering around town, enjoying the sites, the tranquility of the water, and meeting great people along the way. (You can find any and every kind of food you may want within blocks) Cocktails at The Backyard Bar where you can sit at the bar or down in the courtyard area with nice foliage and lighting for the evening ambiance. Talking and laughing with the locals and other patrons was more like you were at a friend's house rather than a stuffy bar. Sunday morning brunch was beyond DELISH and Stephanie would never let your glass go empty with the bottomless Mimosas :). I cannot say enough about this wonderful place. We will definitely be back and bring our friends. Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special!!
This is by far the best bed and breakfast I've ever stayed at. The accommodations were great and the location can't be beat - just a couple blocks away from City Center as well as Clematis (where all the restaurants and bars are located). Our host, David, was AWESOME and went out of his way to ensure we had the best stay. The bartender Jess was the icing on the cake. They treat you like a member of the family. This is the only place I'll consider staying the next time I'm in West Palm.
You would never expect to find this adorable place in the middle of West Palm. Owners and staff were very nice. Sunday brunch was delicious. Within walking distance of Cityplace and Clematis St. Loved it and will definitely be back!
